I gave myself entirely to you
But you still left for someone new
You promised to protect me
And I loved you selflessly

I gave you everything
So why did you have to leave
The memories we had still lingering
A ring I receive

You saying that you'd come back
For your affection
What did I lack?
Why must I suffer such great rejection?

Here, I see you stand
Sadness has filled you
I try for your hand
But I pass through

No matter how much I try
I can never feel you just like before
Now all I can do is cry
This pain is making me yearn for you more

You said you no longer loved me
Then why are here weeping sadly
In front of my grave?
All the time you were lying

Now you tell the truth
The truth that hurts the most
You say you love me till now
But then only after I'm lost

You say your vow
I could not believe the things you said
I wish I wasn't dead
For I would run to you

With eyes stained in tears
I watch you closely
As you pull out something from your coat
I look at the object fearfully

A gun you pointed to your head
One shot and you'd be dead
You said you could not bare
To live knowing I'm gone

In front of the setting sun
You pulled the trigger
Your lifeless body fell on the ground

You didn't care
If anyone was there
Cause you would never change your mind
You said so yourself you would never find

Someone like me
Our love for each other
Caused our deaths
From now on and to forever

Finally,
It's just going to be
You and Me
Disclaimer: I don't own Gundam SEED and or Destiny or any of its characters.

Anyhoo~ This is another poem and again, it isn't new at all. It's still about and dedicated to my favourite Gundam SEED/Destiny couple, Athrun and Cagalli. =D

*So, sorry if some of it sucks. This was made four years ago at 2006. :omg:

About the Poem:
This poem is written in the first person narrative or the point of view of Cagalli. The story behind this, Cagalli had somehow died (yeah... I never got to thinking how she died but she did). This is set a few months (:?) after her death in the cemetery.

Not bad. :) The story reminds me of Romeo and Juliet.

 I'm completely in love with the play that I memorized most of the lines (even tho, I only played as a merchant, I knew everyone's lines) :giggle:

Wow, that's pretty impressive! If they ever needed a last minute replacement, I think I know who'd they get. :D

 Yeah, I guess - but I -unfortunately- became the bossy director's (my best friend :P) personal secretary and helped the others memorize their lines. :P For the *entire* play, I had only *two* lines, and it was, "Oh, no! A fight!" and "Tybalt!". :P

And nah, they didn't ever improve my role. :P The director needed someone to yell at and echo whatever she yelled to everyone else. And that was me.

Aww, that's too bad. :( It's cool to be part of the brains behind the operation, but it can be frustrating to get next to no screen time.

Did you still enjoy being part of the play though?

Yeah, it was one of the best moments in high school. It was our first big play, so I wasn't very much excited to have a big role. :P But after that play, I've had bigger roles and I even found out that I can cry at willing! :P
